Alarm Response
Ranmac can also take care of your premises if it is protected by an intruder alarm system.
This will save you and your employees the inconvenience of being called out to reset alarms. If an alarm activates, Ranmac will send a bonded security officer to check the premises, reset the alarms and if necessary remain on the premises until your staff arrives.

Client Confidentiality

Client Confidentiality is crucial to the success of our role, as a back-up service is our ability to carry out any given task in strict confidence. There is no risk of Ranmac approaching your clients as this is all covered in the agreement that is signed at the start of business.
To this end, all our Security Guards sign a confidentiality agreement on the start of their employment with our company.
In over 750,00 hours backing up security companies, we are yet to record a situation where client confidentiality was breached. We are sure of maintaining this achievement with you as a client.
Vetting Of Employees
They are strictly vetted for suitability as required by BS 7858 (the manned guarding standard).
They are fidelity bonded and are smartly dressed in uniforms.
They must provide proof of identity and evidence of previous employment, a minimum ten years history is required before permanent employment is given.

Training

Ranmac Trainers have all been qualified to teach by the Security Industry Training Organisation (SITO).
Guards receive on-site training and are regularly brought up to date on new systems, technique and practices. They must be competent to deal with specific customer needs.
Training records are maintained to support qualification and competence of all staff in undertaking specific tasks required by clients.
Once the applicant passes the initial screening procedures, they are subject to a basic course on general security practise after which all trainees are again assessed on their suitability, intensive training begins including:
Additional training requirements of security officers or management staff are identified by regular supervision and appraisal.
Comprehensive work instructions and guidelines are prepared and issued to all personnel to cover key processes which directly affect the quality of the service provided and address the specific requirements of BS 7499.
